What Does Cold Laser Treat?
At Northern Virginia Oral Surgery, we use Cold Laser to treat jaw pain and TMJ patients. Cold Laser is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and is meant to accelerate the healing process. When the light hits a targeted area, it stimulates cell growth and increases blood flow. In some cases, it is done alongside Botox® treatment to help reduce musculoskeletal tension.
